The Time Factor

I would love to say- " Hey time all these days you were controlling me but  "THE TIME" has changed and  i will be controlling you!! :) "

I was just pondering over how we spend everyminute in a day!!do we even realise the importance of seconds???? Lets just imagine that we have the power of freezing the time. ie. every second will be like an hour. So it is like a loooott of time for us right. What would we do if we have our days this long??? Would we make use of the extra time that we get really efficiently or just keep spinning the yarn for the extra hours too!!

Right from the school days we keep complining that  time was not sufficient to comple that days homework or to prepare for tests or whatever work we were assigned for work. We either say "we were busy" or " no time". But what do we really do get that busy ???

We would have heard lectures and gyans on how to manage time, or even attended workshops on Time Management. We would have also heard the famous saying that  "Winners Manage Time efficiently".
But how is that few are able to do every thing perfectly in the given time and others just lack behind giving lame excuses.???

I know its not easy to follow a strict time table,Because it  again brings us to the starting of the discussion where Time controls us!!!..Time goes in its own pace and if we do not go along with it then we will have to run extra fast to cope up with the time. But what if Time is about to end the race and we are still at the starting point???? we really cannot cope up!!
And time is a loner. No friends and no enemies. It does not help its friends by waiting for them to join the race nor does it punch its enemies to quit from the race. Then how do we control time???

1)  Time management is a myth. All we can actually manage is ourselves and what we do with the time that we have.

2) Tracking Daily Activities explains how to track your activities so you can form a accurate picture of what you actually do

3) Eliminate your personal time-wasters

4) Change your behaviors over time to achieve whatever general goal you've set for yourself

5) Get in the habit of setting time limits for tasks.

6) Don't waste time waiting.Always take something to do with you.Technology makes it easy to work wherever you are; your PDA and/or cell phone will help you stay connected.

You can be in control and accomplish what you want to accomplish - once you've come to grips with the time management myth and taken control of your time.

Well after reading a lot about yoga i decided to go for the YOGA classes.I thought of going for the classes thinking i would pass some time in the class as i would get to interact with many people there, but i did not believe that i would get answers to  many hidden things that we called "superstitious beliefs" . Then i believed that there are so many things that has not yet been proved by the science.

There are notes of so many things that we do in our day to day life right from lighting the diyas in the evening to why girls keep bindis in the vedic books and the puranas. The importance of YOGA has been stated in the "BHAGAVADGEETA" as well.

Recently when i was watching the Discovery Channel, there was a documentary that was being telecast-ed and it was about a 14 yr old guy who was in meditation for 8 months continuously without having a drop of water or food.It may not be surprising for us,as we have grown up hearing stories of rishis doing tapas for years together. But the scientists and the doctors of the west where not able to believe this fact, saying a person cannot live without drinking water for more than 4 days ccontinuously and decided to have a camera fixed near the guy who was in deep meditation and to their surprise he was in the same position for more than 5 days of recording and the team of docs and the scientists where astonished.
This was achieved by the guy because of his intense YOGA practice .Which our science has not yet seen. There are so many evidences of such amazing things unknown to science happening which are already pre-written and for proving all those write and getting patent for those would take really long time in the future.

P.S  In the next post i would mention about some "written- unproven Facts" that we just believe are  fake.

The ancient Indian science of yoga is held in high esteem all over the world. We Indians are aware of it. Our ancestors the rishis and the munis discovered the ancient art of YOGA and used for the upliftment of mankind.

The human body is a treasure trove of Divine Powers.Self-realization and Salvation can be attained through it.The astounding human achievements of the present day are the direst outcome or manifestations of the inherent powers of the human body and the mind.

The human body is like a machine. When used properly , it can last for very long period of time. Those who are unaware of the power of the self, soon loose their peace.A healthy body alone can possess a healthy mind.

In order to achieve the control of the mind over our senses and thoughts we must know YOGA and KNOWLEDGE. YOGA controls passion and KNOWLEDGE makes one realise the eternal truth. thus concentration becomes possible. The first step is to attain control over the body the control over prana. thus leading to the control over mind. the process is called the HATHAYOGA.

who where the Carib and Arawak people?

For centuries the Caribbean islands were home to the Carib and Arawak peoples.Their way of life was abruptly disturbed when Europeans arrived in The 1490s.

Within 100 years, most had been wiped out by new European rulers who brought thousands of
Africans into the Caribbean to work on the sugar plantations. The sugar-based economy continued until its decline in the late 19th century. From the
1960s the island gradually gained independence
from the European control.

The Caribs were expert navigators, travelling great distance in wooden canoes.
The Arawak's were skilled craft workers, who produced baskets and furniture's
