Here is my second sun burst mirror completely from waste materials.

Things needed:

1.Hot glue gun
2.Bamboo sticks
3.Mirror of various size.

All that has to be done is just stick the bamboo sticks behind the mirror in any pattern that comes to the mind, and stick the mirrors of various sizes according to the need.

Food Finds- Turkish

People who love to eat are always the best people. Its very easy to make the epicureans happy. Give them good food. Make them good food or just show them good food! Catching up for good food always brings in happiness, and trying world cuisines is delirious.
Travelling to new places and trying out the local cuisine makes the trip complete. But we have the luxury of eating the authentic local cuisines of several countries just by travelling few miles these days.
Turkuaz cafe, in the college city of bloomington is one such place which serves delicious Turkish cuisine. The ambiance is made to have a feel of turkey. One can choose to sit on the floor having comfortable pillows, cushion and the low table or the regular restaurant type tables.

There is also a shelf full of authentic Turkish items for sale right from their Turkish delight, to Turkish tea biscuits.

Turkish food has a lot of vegetarian options to choose from, which makes it a immediate hit for vegetarians like me.Turkish cuisi…

DIY-Make your own side table in 5 minutes

This year has been a busy year, and this is the first blog post of the year.Moving to a new country gives a lot of chances to blog about new places that one gets to visit. But landing on a winter morning, still having 2 months of winter to go, one has no option than to wait for the sun to come out and sit in the comfort of the home.

Setting up the apartment was a task on its own, but when I found two pieces of wood lying around, I couldn't help, but to make a DIY side table. It didn't involve any glue or carpentry efforts, but just to place the wood pieces in an angle that they balance each other out and I just used board pins to support them.

All it took was jus 5 minutes to make this DIY side table.

Things needed:

1. Board pins (for balance)
2. particle boards (any light wood will do)

Keep one particle board vertically and mark with board pins.

Place the other particle board horizontally over the verticle one. The board pins act as a support.
