Eco-Champion: How to lead a sustainable lifestyle

Sustainability is all about making choices that help preserve the planet and its resources for future generations. There are many ways that individuals can make sustainable choices in their daily lives to help reduce their environmental impact.   One simple way to be more sustainable is to reduce energy consumption. This can be done by turning off lights and appliances when they're not in use, using energy-efficient appliances, and unplugging electronics when they're not being used. Another way to reduce energy consumption is to use public transportation, carpool, bike, or walk instead of driving alone.   Another important aspect of sustainability is reducing waste. History

India is more than the sum of astonishing cultures. A vast geographic tapestry of mountains, rivers, plains, forest and deserts. A land of ancient traditions and countless mother tongues. A nation where the looks, the dress, the language and even the cuisine changes along with its terrain. It is the birth place of great religions like Hinduism, Buddhism. India is a colorful land famous for religious, seasonal, cultural and national festivals. India is a paradox with Thar and Cherapunji. A unique mix of the western and Asian culture. It is a great combination of all the contradictions-modern and ancient, rich and poor. It has elephants and Mercedes sharing the same roadways. For ever mysterious, forever enthralling, it is a destination quite unlike any other which makes it incredible.

Neither it can be defined nor can be described. Pride of all the nations and the Paradise on the earth with only one identification Unity in diversity is OUR INCREDIBLE INDIA.

  5. Unity in diversity - I love that. The India I grew up in might not always have been united but people were relaxed about diversity on the whole. Then politicians, for their own personal gain, struck upon the communal based vote and started indulging in scare mongering. Still, I feel the majority remains easy going about anything or anyone different, especially in Mumbai where I grew up.
